3 suspended for illegal ox slaughter in Idgah slaughterhouse
New Delhi, Apr 1 (UNI) The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) today suspended three corporation employees in connection with an incident of illegal slaughtering of an ox on the premises of a slaughterhouse this morning.
A spokesperson of the MCD said two veterinary doctors Mool Chand and Sunil Kumar Ranga, along with a watchman Khazan Chand, posted in the buffalo section of the Idgah slaughterhouse have been placed under suspension with immediate effect, pending inquiry of the incident.
Dr Raj Kumar, a veterinary officer, Sadar Paharganj Zone, has been directed to hold an inquiry into this incident and submit the report within seven days, the spokesperson added.
