MP: 170 cows, calves freed in Ashoknagar

Ashoknagar (MP), Apr 1: Nine people were arrested and 170 cows and calves being transported in four trucks were freed in this district's Bahadurpur area, police said today.

On a tip-off, police freed the cattle on Sunday and sent them to 'Kanji house'. The trucks were seized. The cattle were being taken to Madhya Pradesh's Balaghat district from Rajasthan.
