104 bags of fireworks seized, two arrested

Guntur, Apr 1: Police arrested two people including a woman and seized 104 bags of fireworks from them at Ponnuru-Itukampadu road near Ponnuru town in Guntur district today.

Police said V Koteswara Rao of Chebrolu had illegally manufactured the fireworks ostensibly for sales and stored them in 104 bags in the woman's hourse.

Ponnur police registered a case and are investigating.
