Toll for commuters between Delhi-Gurgaon revised
New Delhi, Mar 31 (UNI) Commuters between the Delhi-Gurgaon stretch of the National Highway No 8 will now have to shell out more for travel.
The revision has been carried out, as per the Wholesale Price Index, for Gurgaon-New Delhi between 14.3 km to 42 km.
Toll charges per trip will be Rs 11 for cars going to airport, Rs 17 for cars crossing the toll plaza at border and Rs 21 for crossing the toll plaza at 42 km point.
For trucks, the revised charges will be Rs 34 for going to IGI, Rs 51 for the Toll Plaza at border and Rs 64 for those crossing the Toll Plaza at 42 km.
For buses, the rates are Rs 34, Rs 51 and Rs 64 respectively, and for mini buses Rs 17, Rs 25 and Rs 32 respectively.
For Light Commercial Vehicles, the new rates are Rs 17, Rs 25, and Rs 32 and multi axle vehicles will be charged Rs 34, Rs 51 and Rs 64 for going to IGI, and crossing the Border toll plaza and 42 km plaza, respectively.
Commuters will be encauraged to opt for Smart Tags to enjoy hassle free ride and also avail discounts on the applicable Toll rates.
