Petrol pump employee shot at, 2.4 lakh looted

Varanasi, Mar 31: Unidentified miscreants shot at a petrol pump employee and looted Rs 2.4 lakh from him in Danganj bazar in Cholapur area here today.

According to police, petrol pump manager Bhishm Singh was on his way along with another employee Prakash Rajbhar to deposit the money in a bank when the miscreants stopped them. On resisting, the accused shot at Prakash and fled away with the bag containing money. The injured victim has been admitted to hospital.
