Pawan Hans pays Rs 8.92 cr interim dividend

New Delhi, Mar 31 (UNI) Pawan Hans Helicopters Ltd (PHHL) today paid to the Government an interim dividend of Rs 8.92 crore for 2007-08.

The dividend cheque was handed over to Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel by Pawan Hans CMD R K Tyagi.

The dividend was paid on 79.5 per cent equity held by the Government in PHHL.

During the year, the company's operating profit rose from Rs 2.78 crore to Rs 8.37 crore, and net profit from Rs 9.25 crore to Rs 25.10 crore, an official statement said.
