New Delhi, Mar 31: India's National Security Advisor, MK Narayanan, has said that India has a very low level of confidence in the Maoists in Nepal. "We have put a great deal of faith in Nepal Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala and the Nepali Congress.

We're unsure as to where we stand with regard to the Maoists despite professions on both sides that we can work together," the Nepalnews.com quoted Narayanan as saying. He also openly declared India's preference for Nepali Congress, according to a report in Indian private news channel website.
