Jharkhand Dy CM accuses WB govt of atrocities on poor

Purulia, Mar 31 (UNI) Jharkhand Deputy Chief Minister Sudhir Mahato today accused the CPI(M)-led Left Front government in West Bengal of in flicting ''atrocities on innocent villagers''.

While addressing a rally on the 29th foundation day of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha(Soren) in Kotshila of Purulia district today, Mr Mahato reiterated that there were corruption charges against the Left Front at the panchayat level.

He warned the CPI(M) leaders against creating trouble for the supporters of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (Soren).

He also insisted on speedy industrialisation of the district, while criticising the government for forceful land acquisition in Nandigram and Singur.

Others present on the occasion were JMM(S) president of West Bengal State Committee Ajit Prasad Mahato, and MP Nemai Mahato.
