Horticulture action plan in MP

Bhopal, Mar 31 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Horticulture Department has drafted an action plan for enhancing fruit production by 6 per cent, vegetables by 25 per cent and spices by 50 per cent.

Keeping in view of the environment in Amarkantak and Pachmarhi areas, pear cultivation would be encouraged there, official sources said.

Mushroom cultivation would be encouraged.
