Hayden Christensen to play Superman?

Melbourne, Mar 31 : If rumours are to be believed, Hayden Christensen has landed the role of Superman in George Miller's 'Justice League Mortal' film.

According to movie gossip websites, Christensen, the face of Anakin Skywalker - who became Darth Vader - in the recent 'Star Wars' series, is playing one of the leading Hollywood superheroes, reports the Daily Telegraph.

CinemaBlend.com first reported that Christensen would be playing the iconic role, but other websites have dismissed the speculation, with one calling it a 'crazy rumour.'

Christensen, a Golden Globe Award-nominated Canadian actor, appeared in Canadian television programs when he was young, then diversified into American television in the late 1990s.

He moved on to minor acting roles before being praised for his role of Sam in 'Life as a House.'
