Food and Civil Supplies minister conducts surprise inspection

Shimla, Mar 31 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Food and Civil supplies Minister Ramesh Dhawala today conducted a surprise inspection in two medicine shops of state Food and Civil Suppliioes Corporation in Indira Gandhi Medical college complex and one shop in Kamla Nehru Hospital Complex.

He said that the corporation was operating medicine shops at various places to facilitate the people of the state, which were open round the clock. He appealed the doctors to prefer those medidinces, which were available in these shops so that good quality medicines were available to the people at reasonable prices.

Mr Dhawala directed to maintain cleanliness in the shops besides ensuring proper storage of medicines at appropriate temperature.

General Manager Sate Civil Supplies Corporation S K Acharya and Drug controller R K Chaudhary accompanied the minister.
