Congress keeps distance from Hogenakkal controversy
New Delhi, Mar 31 (UNI) The Congress Party today refused to be drawn into the controversy between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu over the Hogenakkal drinking water project issue.
"Our consistent stand has been that one state should not fight against the other," AICC General Secretary and former Karnataka Chief Minister Veerappa Moily told mediapersons.
"It is our wish that states should settle all contentious issues among themselves amicably," he added.
