SBSU demands new wage agreement for SBI staff
Tiruchirapalli, Mar 30 (UNI) State Bank of India Staff Union, Chennai circle (SBSU-CC) president P V Inbasekaran today urged the SBI management to initiate fresh tripartite discussion for evolving a new wage agreement for the SBI staff.
Presiding over the module conference of the SBSU's zonal conference, Mr Inbasekaran pointed out that number of eligible wards of staff members were waiting for job for years and wanted the bank management to provide job to them under compassionate grounds.
Inaugurating the conference, Vice-Prsident of the SBSU-CC R Balasubramanian requested the bank management to fill up the existing 1,500 vacancies immediately through a special recruitment examination.
