One labourer dead, another injured as well caves-in

Bathinda, Mar 30 (UNI) One labourer was killed and another injured seriously today when the wall of a well they were digging caved-in at Laliana village in the district.

According to police, the two local labourers, identified as Buta Singh and Mahinder Singh were deepening the tudbewell in the village when portion of the wall caved-in burying them.

The police and villagers carried out the rescue operation but Buta Singh died on the spot while Mahinder Singh was rushed to civil hospital here.
