Mulayam asks Bihar Assembly speaker to disqualify two MLA of his party

Patna, Mar 30 : Samajwadi Party (SP) Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has asked Bihar Assembly speaker U N Choudhary to disqualify two of his party MLAs, who had cast their votes for National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Rajya Sabha nominees.

He said the alleged MLA's defied the party's directive to vote for United People's Alliance (UPA) candidates for the Rajya Sabha seat election from the State.

"Our party chief has sent a letter to the Assembly speaker, seeking disqualification of the defiant MLAs," said State SP president Ashok Kumar Singh.

Singh said the two MLAs - Deonath Yadav and Gopal Agarwal - have already been suspended from primary membership of the party.
