3 children died in Leh landslide

Kargil, March 30 (UNI) Three children were buried alive under mudslide triggered by heavy rains in Leh this afternoon.

Official sources said heavy rains in Khalsi area triggered mudslides in village Bema.

They said three children who were playing in a field were buried under a huge mudslide.

Bodies of two children have been recovered while operation to retrieve another was in progress, they said.
