2 children drown in pond

Jaunpur, Mar 30 (UNI) Two children drowned today while bathing in a pond in Shahganj area here, police said today.

Six children of Koravilya-Bhandi village had gone to take bath in a pond, where two drowned, the police said.

However, other four swimmed out safely.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Alim Husain and Taiyab.

Bodies had been sent for post-mortem.
