Woman, 3 children killed in fire incident

Siddharthnagar, Mar 29: Four people, including three children, of a family were killed after fire engulfed their house late last night in Sant Kabirnagar district of Basti Division, police said today.

The incident occurred in Bakhira town late last night, when the house caught fire after a kerosene lamp fell upon the bed, while the family was sound asleep. They were admitted to Gorakhpur Medical College in critical state, where Asha (6) and Ankita (4) died last night.

Gudiya (28) and her one-year-old son succumbed to burn injuries today.
