Two HM militants arrested in Doda

Jammu, Mar 29 (UNI) Security forces today arrested two militants of Hizb-Ul-Mujaheedin (HM) along with arms in chilly Bhalessa area of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources here said.

Based on specific information about the presence of two militants near village Huddal in Bhalessa, a joint operation was launched by the district police and 26 Rashtriya Rifles.

''Two HM militants were arrested from the area while two SLR, one wireless set and two magazines were recovered from their possession,'' senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda Manohar Singh told UNI.

The militants were idetified as Mohammad Sharief and Khadim Hussain, both residents of Huddal, Doda district.
