Three, including a woman, killed in car-truck collision

Hoshiarpur, Mar 29 (UNI) Three persons including a woman were killed and two others were wounded in a road accident near Alowal on Hoshiarpur-Tanda road today.

According to the police sources, Manga Singh of Tagran along with Charanjit Kaur, wife of Sadhu Singh and Hardeep Kaur, wife of Bhajan Singh, both of Kandhala Jattan were coming to Hoshiarpur in their car.

On the way near Alowal, a speeding mini truck collided head-on with their car due to which occupants Manga Singh and Charanjit Kaur and a pedestrian Sat Pal Singh of Alowal, died on the spot.

Passers-by Gurdip Singh and Jaspal Singh and car occupant Hardip Kaur were wounded and were shifted to Civil Hospital, Hoshiarpur.
