Man shoots himself after killing daughter

Chandigarh, Mar 29 (UNI) A city-based businessman today shot dead his daugther and later committed suicide by shooting himself in his house in Sector 23 here.

According to the police, Karanjeet Singh, the owner of Kasauli Broiler, shot down his younger daughter Poonam, who was in coma since the last few days.

They were immediately rushed to the PGI Hospital, where the doctors declared them brought dead.

Karanjeet had got his elder daughter Alpana married just 15 days back. Police has reached the spot and is investigating the matter.
