Country-made bombs recovered from unused plots in Kannur

Kannur, Mar 29 (UNI) Police recovered seven country-made bombs and explosive materials from unused plots at Udumamukku and Padikkachal areas here today.

Police said the bombs were recovered while conducting raids in the area.

The raids were still on at Kizhoor, Padikkachal, Uliyil, Punnad, Kolari, Narayan pura, Maloor, Vembadithattu and Sivapuram areas in the district, the sources added.
