Brother accidently shoots dead younger brother
Sangrur, Mar 29 (UNI) A 19-year-old boy allegedly accidently shot dead his younger brother in his house in Longowal last night.
Police today said that some unidentified turbaned men had knocked at the house of Kuldeep Kaur, a nurse in a local Hospital late last night, apparently to confirm the address of a neighbouring doctor.
However, the woman, a Sacha Sauda follower, who was in the house with her two sons, got panicky and her elder son Ramandeep Singh opened fire at them with his father's licenced gun.
While the unidentified persons ran away, the bullet hit his younger brother Paraminderjeet Singh (15), who died on the spot.
Later, the woman herself called the police and said his son was shot dead by the unidentified men.
However, when police investigated the case, Ramandeep confessed that he caused the death of his younger brother by mistake.
