Seven killed, nine injured in two road accidents
Kendrapada, Apr 28 (UNI) At least seven people were killed and nine injured in two road accidents in Orissa today.
Police here said five people, including a woman, died on the spot and nine injured when a vehicle carrying them collided head-on with a truck at Manguli chhak on the Cuttack Chandikhole road of National Highway 5 under Tangi police station.
Villagers from Puruna Prasad under Bhadrak district were on way to Puri when the accident took place.
All the injured people were rushed to the SCB medical college and hospital at Cuttack.
In another accident, two persons died on the spot at Aruhan Chhak on the Chandikhole-Duburi road today.
