Rupee opens up at 40.08 per USD
Mumbai, Mar 28: The spot rupee today resumed high at 40.08/09 against per US Dollar compared to 40.10/11 on previous day's close on fresh selling Dollar by Foreign banks, dealers said. Later it fluctuated between 40.06 and 40.12 in noon session.
They stated that, Rupee inched higher due to helped by some money coming in from overseas ahead of the end of the fiscal year, though gains were checked as oil importers bought dollars to meet month-end requirements.
