MPs of five countries to monitor Nepal polls
Kathmandu, Mar 28 (UNI) Members of the parliament of five countries, including India, will visit Nepal to monitor the Constituent Assembly polls scheduled to be held on April 10.
A total of ten MPs from India including Sitaram Yechuri and D P Tripathi will visit Nepal to monitor the polls, local media quoted election commission official as saying.
MPs of Britain, France, Japan and Germany will also visit Nepal during the historic polls to be held for the first time in Nepal.
A large number of national and international teams are given permission to observe and monitor the polls.
The constituent assembly will write a new democratic constitution and decide the future of the suspended monarchy.
