Miscreants kill CPM leader's son

Barrackpore, Mar 28 (UNI) Miscreants killed the son of a Kamarhati Municipality councilor and CPI(M) leader near the Kamarhati Jute mill in North 24 Parganas today.

The victim was shot and then hacked with a sharp weapon, police said.

Police have started an investigation and launched a manhunt.

A police picket had been posted in the area as tension prevailed.
