Militant shot dead, curfew continues in Manipur

Imphal, Mar 28 (UNI) The personnel of Imphal West police commandos shot dead a suspected militant near the DM College basketball court, Imphal last night.

Police said the body of the deceased was kept at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences for identification and post mortem.

Meanwhile, the night curfew in Manipur entered its 11th day today. The government imposed night curfew in the valley districts from March 17, after 15 non-Manipuri migrant workers were killed by unidentified persons in Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal and Bishenpur districts.
