IISc attack prime suspect brought to B'Lore from UP
Bangalore, Mar 28 (UNI) Suspected LeT operative Mohammed Sabauddin, prime suspect in the terror attack on the Indian Institute of Science (IISC) in which one scientist was killed, was today brought to the city from Lucknow for questioning, a top official said.
Sabauddin, who was among the six militants arrested by Central security agencies, had reportedly confessed to the Uttar Pradesh Police that he had helped those involved in the attack on IISc in December 29, 2005 which left Prof M C Puri of Delhi dead and four injured.
A police team from the city had left for Lucknow soon after the arrest and succeeded in getting his custody from a local court.
According to sources, Sabauddin was taken to an undisclosed location.
He would be subjected to brain mapping, polygraph and narco analysis tests at the Institute of Forensic Sciences here during the next few days.
