CM denies pressurising Nandlal
Mumbai, Mar 28 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh today denied having pressurised State Election Commissioner Nandlal.
''Nandlal is lying. I never tried to pressurise him for changing the reservation of Latur Constituency as I was never a Lok Sabha candidate,'' Mr Deshmukh clarified in a statement issued here.
He added Nandlal was punished with two days imprisonment as he did not attend the Privilege Committee meeting even after being asked to do so, which is contempt of the House.
