Bihar journalists urge Nitish's intervention for interim relief
Patna, Mar 28 (UNI) A delegation of Bihar working journalist, under the banner of ''Shramjeevi Patrakar Union'', today sought Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's intervention for early implementation of the recommendations of Justice K Narain Kurup Wage Board.
The delegation, led by association president Anil Kumar and secretary Arun Kumar, handed over a memorandum to the chief minister in this regard and requested him to take up the issue with Union Labour Minister Oscar Fernandes about the payment of interim relief until the recommendations of Justice Kurup Committee was implemented.
''We would also seek intervention of all union ministers from Bihar towards fulfilment of our demand,'' Mr Kumar later told newspersons.
