Bata Q4 net slips 5.84%, year ended net at Rs 47.44 cr
New Delhi, Mar 28 (UNI) Bata India Ltd today said net profit for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2007 slipped 5.84 per cent to Rs 21.10 crore against Rs 22.41 crore in the same quarter last year.
Net Sales increased 11.29 per cent to Rs 233.97 crore for quarter ending on December 31, 2007 against Rs 210.23 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
For year ended December 31, 2007 net profit increased 18.15 per cent to Rs 47.44 crores against Rs 40.15 crore in 2006.
Its Net Sales of increased 12.63 per cent to Rs 867.48 crore for year ending December 31, 2007 against Rs 770.20 crore in the corresponding last calendar year.
