3 brothers sentenced to life

Sultanpur, Mar 28 (UNI) Three brothers were awarded life term for murdering a panchayat member of Gosainganj area 11 yrs back here.

A fine of Rs 10,000 was also slapped on each.

On November 13, 1996 Ramteerath was battered to death by siblings Bhagvandeen, Jagnarayan and Jagdish Prasad, prosecution said.

Yesterday, Fast Track (III) Court judge Avinash Chandra Tripathi sentenced the three brothers to life.
