Veteran dance exponent Koser passes away
Chandigarh, Mar 27 (UNI) Noted exponent of Indian dance and veteran journalist M L Koser today passed away in a private city hospital at Mohali.
Koser (80) was admitted in Fortis Hospital following multiple- organ failure on Monday. He breathed his last this morning.
A recipient of many awards and honours which he earned in recognition of his glorious performances and making admirable contribution in the field of music and dance, Koser was also founder-secretary of the Pracheen Kala Kendra here.
The Pracheen Kala Kendra, which engaged in promoting art and culture, is now the most firmly established body of its kind in the country.
Condoling his death, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that Koser was not only a great exponent of Indian dance, but also a brilliant scholar of classical literature.
Mr Hooda also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prayed that the departed souls might rest in peace.
Koser is survived by his wife Shobha, son Sujal and daughter Purva.
