TPM stage demo for Eelam Tamils cause

Chennai, Mar 27 (UNI) About 700 members today came together under the banner of Tamils Protection Movement (TPM) to stage a demonstration espousing the cause of Eelam Tamils.

PMK founder Leader Dr S Ramadoss, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi Leader Thol Thirumavalavan and Tamil scholars participated in the demonstration held in front of the Memorial hall.

The agitation was to condemn the Sri Lankan military attack on innocent Eelam Tamils and to urge the Centre to equip the Indian fishermen with arms to protect themselves from Sri Lankan Navy attack in high seas.

They also demanded immediate retrieval of Katchatheevu from the control of Sri Lankan Government.
