Three killed in two different mishaps on 'rangapanchami'

Kolhapur, Mar 27 (uni) Three youth died in two different mishaps in the district on ''rangapanchami'' day today.

In the first incident, Vijay Jamdade (26) and his friend Deepak Mali (27), both residents of Kurundwad town in Shirol tehsil, were killed when their motor-cycle was hit by a truck, police said. They were returning home after playing ''rangapanchami'', police said.

In the second incident, Ajay Bhagat (16) drowned in a well at Pachagaon on the city's suburbs this afternoon, police said. The boy was bathing to wash off the colours after playing ''rangapanchami'', police added.
