Temple nets Rs 40.8 lakh from hundi collection

Srikalahasti, Mar 27 (UNI) Srikalahasteeswara temple has netted Rs 40.8 lakh from hundi during the for 28-day annual Sivaratri Brahmotsavam.

According to temple sources, the collection was more than Rs 15 lakh compared to the previous year.

Apart from hundi collection, the temple had also received 80 grams of gold and 209 kg silver as donations during the festival.
