Rtd DRDO Chief Controller dead

Bangalore, Mar 27 (UNI) Former DRDO Chief Controller (R&D) K U Limaye died here yesterday after brief illness.

He is survived by his wife, a son and daughter.

Mr Limaye had served the DRDO for more than 38 years and held prestigious positions of Director of LRDE, CABS and MTRDC before taking over as the Chief Controller at New Delhi.

His work led to significant achievements in self-reliance in Advance Radar Systems and Travelling Wave Tubes for Radar and Electronics Warfare Systems for the Services.
