Reference rate at Rs 40.15 per USD

Mumbai, Mar 27 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India fixed the reference rate for the USD today at Rs 40.15, up one paisa as compared to yesterday's rate.

The exchange rates for Great Britain's Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were Rs 80.5469 per Pound and Rs 40.54 per 100 Yen respectively, an RBI release said.
