PHDCCI for continuing with tax exemptions
Shimla, Mar 27 (UNI) The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) has sought continuing of exemptions from taxes for certain categories of industries being set up in the industrial areas, saying it will affect investments in the state.
The Chamber also promises to provide 70 per cent employment to Himachalis in the industries being set up in the state, a delegation of the PDHCCI told Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal after they called on him yesterday.
The Chamber congratulated Mr Dhumal for presenting a growth oriented Budget and assured him of their continuing support to take the state on the path of progress and development.
It also invited the Chief Minister to address industrialists, prospetive entrepreneurs and members of PHD Chamber managing committee in New Delhi in April.
