One held with fake passport in Tiruchirapalli

Tiruchirapalli, Mar 27: Airport police arrested a 40-year-old man when he arrived at the international airport here from Singapore with a fake passport yesterday.

Police said, on examination of the travel documents of Mohammed Ansar of Annavasal in Pudukkottai district of Tamil Nadu, the immigration authorities found that his passport was fake. later, he was handed over to the local police, who arrested and remanded him to judicial custody, police added.
