No need for CBI probe into Rajbir murder: Hooda
Chandigarh, Mar 27 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said there was no need for a CBI probe into the murder of Delhi Police ACP Rajbir Singh who was shot dead in Gurgaon district on Monday.
''We dont't think that there is need for such (CBI) probe in the case,'' Mr Hooda told reporters while responding to a demand for CBI enquiry raised in the State Assembly by MLA Naresh Yadav who alleged that there was deep conspiracy behind the murder.
However, he added that if ''something like this'' (the conspiracy angle) came to the fore in the later stage, the Haryana government would have a rethink on the issue.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister also said personal dispute was behind the murder of the ACP and therefore a CBI probe did not seem to be required at this stage.
