MEA discusses bilateral relations with UK's Foreign Secy
London, Mar 27 (UNI) External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee has met UK's Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth ffairs David Miliband here, and discussed bilateral relations and regional issues of mutual interest.
The meeting yesterday was in continuation of the exchanges at the highest level between India and the United Kingdom. Prime Minister Gordon Brown has recently visited India in January, 2008.
The External Affairs Minister extended an invitation to Mr Miliband to pay an official visit to India, which was accepted.
Dates for the visit in the second half of 2008 would be worked out through diplomatic channels.
