Conference on physical education on Mar 28

Hyderabad, Mar 27 (UNI) About 90 primary and secondary school teachers will attend a conference in Osmania University on March 28 to discuss the importance of physical education and sports in engaging and empowering young people in schools and local community.

The British Council, in association with the Andhra Pradesh, would organise the conference to raise the profile of physical education and sports as part of the International Inspiration Programme, a release said here today.

The conference would be supported by Sharon Kee and David Bernett from the Youth Sport Trust, who were working together with the British Council to develop and implement the physical education and school sport programme.

Educationists from the city and Delhi would participate in the conference, the release added.
