Cheat held in AP for misusing RComm's logo

Mumbai, Mar 27 (UNI) The Mumbai police today arrested one Sujankumar Narsiman Reddy (36) from Andhra Pradesh on cheating charges.

Reddy had allegedly created a website and posted the photograph of industrialist Anil Ambani stating that the latter's company was launching multi-level marketing from April 10, this year for the sale of mobile handsets and insurance policies.

Joint Commissioner of Police Rakesh Maria told reporters that legal officer from Mr Ambani's campany had registered a complaint with the crime branch stating that someone had created the website and using Mr Anil Ambani's photograph and Reliance Communication's logo to mislead the people. The complaint was registered on March 18.

During the investigations, the police learnt that the website had been created in Andhra Pradesh and subsequently zeroed down upon the culprit.
