Cartridge World's retail stores in Chennai

Chennai, Mar 27 (UNI) Cartridge World, the eco-friendly fast growing Australian speciality cartridge retailing chain in the world, today expanded its footprint in south India, by opening two retail stores here.

Cartridge World CEO (South Asia) Naveen Rakhecha told reporters here that the stores would be one-stop-shops for all printer-related needs.

It would offer various services including refilling Inkjet cartridges and reloading Laser cartridges -- both backed with money back guarantees, along with printer repairs and free customer education on cartridge care.

The 'first-of-its-kind' store would also have OEM Inkjet and Laser cartridges, high quality speciality paper, fax supplies, OEM Printers and other office supplies.

He said Cartridge World India had been recognised as the 'Best Business Concept of the Year' at the Franchise Awards '07 and the 'New Concept in Franchising' at the Indian Franchising Awards '08, instituted by Franchise Association of India recently.

Mr Rakhecha said ''we are pleased to enter the Chennai region which has tremendous potential. We currently have 22 operational stores in 12 cities in the country. Chennai would be the 13th city where we opened out 23rd and 24th stores. We will be having around 40 stores by May and targetting to have a total of 100 stores through franchisee model by the end of 2008-09 fiscal.'' UNI GV JJ 1550
