Building construction dept executive engineer suspended
Ranchi, Mar 27 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today said the Executive Engineer(EE) of building construction department has been suspended with immediate effect.
Replying to a call attention of C P Singh (BJP), Mr Koda said an inquiry would be conducted against EE Ashok Kumar Sah, posted at Ranchi Commissionary.
Earlier, Building Construction Minister Anosh Ekka said Mr Sah had initiated construction work without inviting any official tender.
The then departmental secretary D K Tiwary had also recommended to return Mr Sah to his parent department, Mr Ekka informed the House.
In another matter related with the irregularities in appointment of police officials in Chatra, Hazaribagh, Giridih and Koderma Deputy Chief Minister Stephen Marandi informed the House that inquiry was being made and the matter would be discussed in the next meeting of selection committee.
Mr Marandi said stern action would be taken against the guilty officers.
