Biscuit bandits strike, six passengers robbed
Bangalore, Mar 27 (UNI) Biscuit bandits struck again drugging six passengers aboard the Mumbai-Bangalore 'Udayan Express' and fleeing with their belongings.
Police today said the incident came to light when co-passengers, who found the victims lying unconscious yesterday, alerted the railway police.
Meanwhile, the victims, admitted to a private hospital here last night, were discharged today.
Hospital sources said the drug used by the bandits was yet to be ascertained.
Police said three unidentified people boarded the train at Sholapur and offered the victims cool drinks laced with sedative.
Later, they fled with the belongings of the passengers.
A search was on to nab the culprits, police added.
