8 die in stampede in Madhya Pradesh
Ashok Nagar, Mar 26 (UNI) Eight persons were killed and 12 others seriously injured in a stampede, about 22 kilometers from the district headquarters, here today.
According to the police sources the incident occured in the evening on the occassion of 'Rangpanchami' in the 'Sita' temple premises situated in Kareela.
The injured have been admitted to the district hospital.
Various officers along with the District Collector and Police Commissioner have reached on the spot.
