VPT handles record traffic in one day

Visakhapatnam, Mar 26 (UNI) The Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT) today handled a record traffic of 4.09 lakh tonne in a day.

According to a VPT release, the port surpassed the previous record of 4.05 lakh tonne achieved on April 25 last year.

The traffic in the current fiscal is likely to cross 64 million tonne, an all-time high in the port's history.
